URBAN KRAG

Urban Krag is an indoor rock climbing gym that promotes the sport in addition to healthy living. Located in downtown Dayton, Ohio, Urban Krag exists out of a renovated church building. The colors are inspired from the granite rock in Yosemite. The geometrics form an asymmetric and abstract UK for the initials while representing the peak of the steeple in the building that has been renovated.

RESPONSIVE WEB

Saint Alfred is an online clothing retailer with a brick and motor location in Chicago, Illinois. Through high contrast, edgy imagery, and a simplistic structure, this site reflects the style of the younger consumers who are vested in the style of streetwear fashion that Saint Alfred provides.

SEASONAL RETAIL

URBAN OUTFITTERS is on a wave of constant change that evolves with trends and culture. Fashion trends of spring 2018 are heavily influenced by bold color, especially primary colors. The imagery contains strong monochromatic themes, with subjects of trendy styles stacked for visual appeal, and the play on words.

CITY REBRAND

Kodiak, Alaska is a port city that sits on the second largest island in North America. The younger community’s backbone is built on the shores of the island where the fishing industry booms, the cargo ports promote trade, and the tourists arrive. Choosing colors form the cargo ships and shipping crates paired with thick lines to appeal to a younger audience, I built a logo that shows the landscape and secondarily houses the initials of the city.

WEB DESIGN

As of 2015, Swift Movement is the first dedicated Parkour and movement facility located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Their dream is to create a single facility with the simple goal of teaching MOVEMENT and achieving personal fitness through movement. With the goal of the gym being to promote and teach movement, I chose to design a horizontal website that you would move through rather than scroll down.

APP DESIGN

HIKR is a new social and informational app that allows users to track their hikes in real time, explore new trails, and stay up to date on news. The main feature of the app allows for the user to track weather, wind speed, direction, elevation, direction, time on the trail, distance traveled, and companions being traveled with. You can also add quotes from the trail as well as photos.

PACKAGE DESIGN

The goal of this package design was to create a bottle and aesthetic that was attractive to a younger generation while fixing usage issues of the current packaging. The design is an ode to the original Clorox logo that featured a sharper diamond shape. The monochromatic color and opaque fade is a play off the simplicity of bleach removing stains and germs to create a sterile item, surface, or piece of clothing.
